Marketing Project Manager – BlueScope North America

Location: Overland Park, KS (Hybrid – 2 days onsite in Kansas City, MO). Salary: $56,000 – $84,000.

Direct exposure to Marketing leadership and enterprise‑level initiatives

Hands‑on experience operating Workfront in a maturing marketing operations environment

Opportunity to influence how Marketing plans and delivers work across multiple brands

Key Focus Areas

Manage day‑to‑day marketing project activities in Adobe Workfront (creation, task assignment, schedules, status tracking).

Maintain operational setup of Workfront for Marketing (standard templates, task lists, routing, user guidance).

Plan and lead weekly project stand‑ups to align stakeholders and issue follow‑up action items.

Act as Workfront champion, model best practices, answer user questions, update documentation.

Coordinate cross‑functional projects to maintain alignment on scope, deliverables, and dependencies.

Develop and maintain core project documentation (briefs, requirements, timelines, status reports, post‑project summaries).

Monitor progress to identify bottlenecks and risks early, recommend mitigation.

Support standardization and continuous improvement of marketing intake, approval, and asset‑related processes.

Provide day‑to‑day project management support to ensure accurate setup, adherence to agreed processes, and practical improvements.

Surface and recommend workflow, intake, or reporting enhancements.

Promote ownership, accountability, and dependability to achieve shared project vision and successful implementation.

Required – Skills and Experience

5–8 years of project management experience supporting marketing, digital, or creative initiatives in a corporate, B2B, or agency environment.

Hands‑on experience with Adobe Workfront (or comparable enterprise work‑management tool) from initiation to completion.

Strong written and verbal communication; able to translate marketing requirements into clear, actionable plans and updates.

Experience managing multi‑channel marketing efforts (web, email, campaign, content, sales enablement) and coordinating creative assets.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel).

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred

Experience in a matrixed B2B enterprise‑level environment.

Familiarity with digital asset management workflows and collaboration with creative/brand teams.

Experience documenting standard operating procedures or project frameworks.

Work Environment

Hybrid – 2 days onsite in Kansas City, MO.

Full‑time role.
