Role Overview The
Marketing Specialist
supports the development and execution of marketing initiatives for the resort. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role contributes to advertising strategy, campaign planning, and performance analysis. Strong candidates may come from brand management, agency environments, or paid media roles.
The primary goal of this position is to help plan and evaluate promotional activities designed to elevate brand visibility, attract new and returning guests, and grow revenue across resort products and experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Marketing Manager and Director to craft creative briefs and guide the development of campaign assets
Coordinate the full lifecycle of marketing deliverables to ensure brand consistency and timely campaign launches
Maintain the promotional calendar, produce product briefs, and share updates with channel managers
Assist with planning, executing, and assessing digital advertising campaigns on social platforms such as Meta and TikTok
Prepare post-campaign analysis for both in-house efforts and agency-led initiatives; recommend improvements based on performance results
Research competitor offerings and marketing activity to support strategic planning
Organize and schedule meetings with media partners, agencies, and internal teams; prepare agendas and distribute follow-up notes
Review analytics reports, identify actionable insights, and communicate recommendations to managers
Ensure messaging is cohesive across all customer touchpoints
Proof marketing and advertising materials for accuracy and consistency
Assist with monthly budget forecasting, variance reporting, and presentations during finance reviews
Complete expense tracking, invoice reconciliation, and purchasing documentation for the department
Provide general administrative support for senior members of the marketing team as needed
Responsibilities may evolve over time as resort needs change.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of three years of marketing experience, including analytical reporting, media coordination, or budget support
Background in agency account management or hospitality/outdoor recreation marketing is a plus
Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, or similar
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-moving environment
High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability
Excellent problem-solving skills and business acumen
Motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering positive guest and employee experiences
