Music Production Assistant Professor and Program Lead
Full‑time position located in Denver, CO.
Pay:
$68,000 - $72,000 per year.
We are looking for an Assistant Professor and Program Lead for our Music Production program. Program Leads are experienced faculty and discipline experts, offering discipline expertise to the department and focusing on performance metrics related to teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the Music Production program
Manage a music, recording, or audio production studio space
Provide instruction across the music production curriculum (composition, music theory, sound design, audio recording & production, spatial audio, sound for screen‑based media, and sound art)
Focus on performance metrics related to teaching and learning
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Music Composition, Computer Music, Sound/Sonic Art, Music Technology, Multi‑ or Intermedia Art, or a closely related field
Minimum 2 years of academic, program, or organizational leadership experience
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at an accredited postsecondary institution
Proficiency and ability to teach a variety of courses across the music production curriculum
