Job Overview The AWS Search team is seeking a Marketing Manager to support the in‑house global paid search program. The role focuses on delivering results through best practices in campaign execution, data‑driven improvements, process simplification, and innovation to drive long‑term growth. You will work closely with search experts to acquire new customers, promote new services, generate leads, and create unique customer‑centric experiences through search.

Our ideal candidate has experience building, maintaining, and managing paid search campaigns, leveraging data insights to improve performance metrics such as conversion rate, quality score, and impression share; running ad copy and landing‑page tests; and collaborating with other paid media channels to drive conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to day‑to‑day management of paid search campaigns through tactical execution and account maintenance.

Maintain high standards of account health and executional excellence by preserving existing operational mechanisms and identifying opportunities for new ones.

Collaborate with a team of search experts to drive acquisition, adoption, lead generation, and unique customer experiences.

Develop and execute campaign‑level testing strategies for ad copy and landing‑page experiences.

Use data to answer business questions, surface insights, and provide recommendations to optimize performance.

Analyze campaign performance metrics, identify trends, and deliver data‑driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Challenge the status quo, advocate for the best customer experience, and insist on long‑term results over short‑term gains.

Maintain a backbone, question assumptions, and pursue continuous improvement in campaigns and customer interactions.

About the Team AWS Search Marketing focuses on delivering an excellent search experience for AWS customers and prospects. The team manages SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and SEM across search engines like Google, Bing, and others. It is part of the Integrated Demand Center (IDC) and supports the objective of building and delivering a unified, consistent, and fast global customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of professional marketing experience (non‑internship).

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Proficiency with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables.

Experience building and optimizing multiple simultaneous marketing campaigns.

Experience managing or working within cross‑functional marketing and creative teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in multi‑territory campaign management.

Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process.

Compensation The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900 per year in the lowest geographic market to $151,700 per year in the highest. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on experience. Additional compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits.
