Overview This role is responsible for developing and implementing sales & marketing strategies for the hotel, ensuring revenue and room night sales goals are achieved.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies for the hotel to ensure revenue and room night sales goals are achieved, sales & marketing strategies are set, tactical plans are created and implemented, and results are monitored and achieved.
Understand rate and revenue management.
Personally handle top accounts.
Maintain an orderly sales office including sales files and trace systems.
Complete the annual Marketing Plan and Budget.
Create an effective sales team through training, mentoring, and participating in joint sales calls.
Actively participate in business, community, and civic affairs in the local area.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
Be flexible with work schedule and hours to meet hotel and guest needs; recognize that occupancy and in‑house group accounts will affect your schedule.
Perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, walking, using hands, lifting boxes up to 15 pounds, talking, hearing, and require close vision to a computer screen. Employee is required to travel.
