Responsibilities Typically an entry‑level position that provides photographic support for Mayo Clinic within a clinical and editorial setting. Works under the guidance of more senior photographers to provide patient photography and video in both surgical and clinical areas as well as operational event photography. Works independently as well as in a team environment in the completion of responsibilities. May act as a photo assistant on larger photographic initiatives. May serve as an on‑call photographer for medical documentation during non‑business hours. May be required to work evenings and weekends. The images created may appear in internal Mayo publications, intranet and internet websites, external media, and electronic presentations. Must adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and maintain a high degree of professionalism during stressful situations.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F‑1 STEM OPT extension program.
Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Photography or the visual arts is required. Portfolio required for consideration. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in the medical, scientific, or corporate environment is preferred.
