**THE POSITION**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Sr. Marketing Event Manager

to join our Building Automation (BA) team. The successful candidate will manage event programs, coordinate with various teams, solve complex problems, manage change, and communicate with stakeholders. You will report directly to the Marketing Director and work from a BA strategic location on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute large‑scale internal and customer‑facing events in live and virtual settings, including project management, sourcing, contract negotiations, budget management, registration, and logistics.

Own and execute Tier 1 category events and events in the U.S. including Presidents Club.

Support acquisition branding integration for event and marketing materials.

Ensure that event closure activities, such as documentation, lessons learned, and stakeholder transition, are appropriately executed.

Collaborate with customer‑marketing leaders to align all stakeholders on goals, timelines, expectations, and responsibilities.

Use data to support overall event marketing strategies, including ROI and campaign effectiveness.

Coordinate with finance and leadership teams to explore opportunities and improve processes.

Build out marketing solutions that automate reports and drive efficiency.

Monitor and track process adoption for events and procurement.

Effectively communicate process changes, optimization features of new tools, and adoption expectations.

Transform standard marketing operations processes to drive efficiency and productivity.

Work with planning tools such as budget tracking, project timelines, logistics, deliverables schedules, event specs, agendas, and notes.

Travel required ~30 %.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of event‑planning experience.

Two years of change‑management and process‑improvement experience.

Excellent project‑management and communication skills.

Strong written and verbal English skills.

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Events or related field.

Proficiency in PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApp, and Microsoft 365.

Experience leading and developing a team.

Results‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Experience with stakeholder management, reporting, analytics, and optimization.

B2B experience.

Excellent business writing and editing skills, including presentations.

Ability to communicate clearly in a global, highly matrixed organization.

Salary : Annual base salary range $142,000 – $178,000 for Connecticut and Minnesota (general guideline, subject to market and business considerations).
