Summary: The Video-Based Education Administrator provides administrative coordination and support for Video-based Education and Meet the Expert sessions for Clinical Congress, including committee management, faculty communication, budgeting, vendor coordination, and overall program planning for the Clinical Congress. The Administrator will also specifically work as a liaison from the Division of Education to colleagues in Information Technology and Integrated Communications in order to catalog and publish the videos and sessions for future membership usage. The role requires a high level of independence, organizational skill, and collaboration across divisions.

This exempt position will report to the Assistant Director, Clinical Congress and Skills Courses in the Division of Education. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office / 2 days per week remote.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $67,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with related experience).

Responsibilities

  • Administer the call for videos including working with vendor to set up the submission site, monitor all submissions and answer all author questions, coordinate the review and notification process for over 350 videos.
  • Schedule and coordinate all Video Based Education Sessions at Clinical Congress.
  • Manage administrative tasks for the Video Based Committee including communication and special webinars.
  • Schedule and organize committee meetings, preparing and distributing meeting materials and agendas and minutes.
  • Coordinate the selection process for the Icons in Surgery.
  • Collaborate with the selected Icons, their champions and vendors, to produce videos for each Icon.
  • Schedule and manage the Meet the Expert Sessions.
  • Provide cross coverage support for the Clinical Congress team.
  • Retain, organize and catalog video-based education and sessions.
  • Connect with and collaborate within the division and with other relevant divisions to facilitate distribution and utilization of educational materials generated.

Required Education And/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.
  • At least 3+ years of overall program or project management experience is preferred. Experience in associations, professional societies, healthcare and/or education desired.
  • Experience working with committees is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LLM, and Teams) is required. Video editing and management experience is preferred.
