Koto
Base Pay Range $120,000 – $140,000 per year
The Role You’re an experienced Digital Producer or Digital Project Manager—meticulous with process, confident with clients, and energized by great design and technology. You lead digital projects from kickoff to launch, navigating complexity with clarity and bringing teams together to do their best work. You’ll build strong relationships with clients, guide internal teams, and help drive the commercial success of Koto’s digital practice.
Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day web and app projects with ease, ensuring on time and on budget delivery.
Sell Koto’s digital expertise to brand clients, new business leads, or digital‑first founders. Support RFPs and pitches, ensuring we present ourselves strongly.
Build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams—advocating for both and communicating clearly across every touchpoint.
Champion project management best practices, delivering a high standard of care to our clients and technical partners. Flex between agile and waterfall methods depending on project needs.
Own project resourcing—know who’s on what, what’s next, and plan ahead. Partner closely with our Client Services Director to forecast and scale.
Negotiate confidently—fees, scopes, timelines, and feedback. Keep a cool head and bring clients back on side when the going gets tough.
Report clearly on budgets, timelines, and KPIs using our reporting tools to keep the MD and finance team in the loop. Play an active role in tracking and supporting monthly goals.
Mentor junior team members—help them build confidence and ownership while offering thoughtful, behind‑the‑scenes support.
Think in systems—understand how brand, UX, and technology connect—and help teams translate big ideas into beautifully executed digital experiences.
Have 2–3 years of product‑management knowledge—comfortable collaborating with client‑side Product Owners, creating and prioritizing backlogs, and using tools like JIRA to support agile workflows. While not technical, know how to scope work, size sprints, and keep teams aligned on what’s shipping next.
Be excited to be part of our studio culture in Los Angeles and open to global travel—from Stuttgart to San Francisco.
