We’re hiring a Marketing Communications Specialist with a strong digital edge!
Are you a marketing pro who knows how to make brands shine online? We’re looking for someone experienced in social media strategy, digital content creation, and online engagement to help us amplify our presence and connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
In this role, you’ll manage projects that span social platforms, websites, blogs, and digital campaigns—while ensuring our brand voice stays consistent and impactful. If you have a proven track record in social media, PR, and digital marketing—and you’re ready to bring creativity and strategy to the table—we want you on our team! This is an onsite position is based in our Middleton, Wisconsin office.
Representative Responsibilities
Supports the Marketing Communications manager and product marketing teams to develop and implement tactical marketing communications projects, including sales tools, marketing collateral, advertisements, tradeshow booths, websites, social media and training materials
Research, write and assist in the production and distribution of key company publications and other external and internal communications
Act as liaison between product management, sales, marketing, and the creative design team
Effectively project manage the development, design, approval, production, and distribution of marketing materials in partnership with the creative design team
Champion the company brand identity across all developed materials
Contributes to the production and distribution of key company publications and other external and internal communications.
Under the direction of manager, produces stories and case studies highlighting ETC projects and installations to support the product and company strategies
Develops content for ETC’s web site and Blog as required and assists in keeping them up to date
Working through manager, cultivates and maintains relationships with editors of key and second-tier trade publications to enhance ETC’s image
Monitors the effectiveness of PR efforts, including online and social media, maintains archive and media reviews
Cultivates and maintains relationships with dealers to support them with their communication efforts
Works with freelance writers, product managers and market managers paying close attention to project objectives and deadlines
Supports and participates in the marketing team’s overall objectives
Performs other duties as assigned by manager which could include assisting with events/Tradeshows, editing communications, photography; and language reference
Completes special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field, or 8 years of comparable experience required
Entertainment and/or architectural lighting industry knowledge preferred but not required
0-3 years’ experience in public relations, corporate communications, or marketing communications
Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks without general supervision.
Solid project management skills
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Ability to work independently while juggling multiple priorities
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Additional language skills a plus (i.e. Spanish)
Proven track record in PR, social media and design
Experience with Adobe design software, Hubspot and Google Analytics is a plus
