Hospitality Interior Designer
We're looking for a Hospitality Interior Designer to join our team in our Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lakeland, Pensacola, or Orlando location.
Description Our Hospitality Studio is seeking an experienced, outgoing interior design professional to join our team. We bring decades of successful projects and long-term client relationships within the hospitality market and other sectors. Our interdisciplinary, collaborative, and relaxed work environment empowers team members to thrive by leveraging their expertise and creativity. This position may be based in New Orleans, Lakeland, Baton Rouge, Orlando, or Pensacola.
Responsibilities
Attend client, planning, and construction meetings
Coordinate with the Project Architect, Manager, Director, and external consultants
Perform all phases of the design process, including construction administration
Select interior finishes, furnishings, artwork, and interior signage
Lead presentations and communicate design concepts using appropriate software
Prepare FF&E budgets, purchasing packages, and presentation materials
Coordinate vendor and installation meetings
Cultivate and market new clients while maintaining existing client relationships
Collaborate with senior-level designers on complex hospitality projects
Required Skills
Interior Design degree from an accredited university (required)
NCIDQ certification (required)
5+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably in hospitality
Proficiency in Bluebeam, 3D software, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
Self-motivated team player with strong organizational and communication skills
