Laboratory Product Marketing Manager

Join to apply for the Laboratory Product Marketing Manager role at BeaconMedaes. The position will develop the laboratory equipment product line in a sustainable, profitable way by creating customer value aligned with the Business Development Manager’s strategy. The product line includes containerized source equipment, motor-driven source equipment, high‑purity pipeline equipment, and cryogenic systems, with a focus on high‑purity pipeline products. This role reports to the Business Development Manager (Laboratory) and has a dotted line to the Divisional VP of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic/Tactical Responsibilities:
Standardize products from the existing made‑to‑order portfolio.
Develop support documentation with Marketing and Engineering.
Implement product line into the Global Quote System (GQS).
Collaborate with Laboratory Products Engineering.
Develop and launch new products harmonized with medical products where possible.
Align operations with BeaconMedaes standards.
Maintain collaboration with 3rd‑party manufacturers.
Identify aftermarket parts and set up standardized kits.
Implement product kitting and stock at the Fast Response Center in Rock Hill, SC.
Provide “train the trainer” technical support training.
Ensure compliance with ISO and quality assurance standards.
Operational:
Support U.S. Customer Center in developing channels and training.
Define sales arguments and marketing messages with Business Development and Marketing Managers.
Prepare and present sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs.
Analyze competitor portfolios and identify opportunities.
Attend selected tradeshows and laboratory events.
Contribute to PCMs, lead PSMs, and deliver marketing‑related outputs (business case, product introduction plan, etc.).
Coordinate production scheduling with Pipeline Manufacturing and chair update meetings.
Additional Expectations:
Maintain a professional image and uphold company values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.
Take initiative to complete tasks and maintain communication with relevant stakeholders.
Update job knowledge through education, networking, and professional development.
Prepare reports as assigned and perform other duties as needed.
Travel: Occasional travel for tradeshows and customer visits (approx. 10–20%).
Qualifications To succeed, you will need
Experience
5+ years of product design/management of piped engineered systems.
Application experience in the area of high‑purity gas systems and/or cryogenic piped systems is preferred.
Experience with SAP ERP software and ISO 9001 qualification is preferred.
Education
4‑year degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Skills
Must be self‑directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills.
Must have proven business analysis skills.
Must have an innovative mindset and strong drive to create customer value.
A keen interest in how technology can create customer value.
Performance‑oriented.
Positive attitude and team player.
Safety first mindset.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
