Join Global Nomadic for a 4‑week immersive program that blends environmental education with media training. You will travel to the Garden Route and spend nine days in an African game reserve while developing, filming, and editing a 5‑minute wildlife documentary.
Program Overview
Combination of a 1‑month environmental and media program and a wildlife filmmaking experience.
Hands‑on training in land‑based and underwater photography.
City‑based client shoots for marketing and social media.
Business‑planning, financial stability, and marketing strategy workshops.
Responsibilities & Learning Objectives
Plan, shoot, and edit a wildlife documentary set in an African reserve.
Operate camera, direct, produce, script, and broadcast content.
Create marketing materials for broadcasters, NGOs, and corporate clients.
Develop a versatile portfolio with still photography and film footage.
Write a business plan and learn marketing strategies for media ventures.
Logistics & Costs The program costs R5,000 for 4 weeks. All costs include:
Private accommodation (subject to availability)
All meals
Airport pickup and transfer to project
All project‑related activities
Premium support package with 24/7 assistance
