Head of USA Marketing

Overview
Chambers is expanding its presence in the USA. The Head of USA Marketing will be the first hire for the Marketing function and will be responsible for defining the strategy and further building Chambers' awareness in the U.S market. The Head of USA Marketing will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of Chambers' marketing strategy across the United States. This strategic role is vital to Chambers' growth opportunities in the U.S.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Define the marketing and brand strategy for the U.S. as part of Chambers' global brand strategy.
- Increase awareness of Chambers for legal rankings and as a data and analytics provider.
- Develop competitive differentiation by understanding the competitive landscape and collaborating with U.S. Sales and Research teams.
- Develop and manage the annual Chambers USA marketing plan and budget.
- Measure the effectiveness and ROI of marketing spend.
- Set and achieve marketing goals and objectives, measured by agreed KPIs.
- Align messaging between sales, product, and marketing in the U.S.
- Develop and manage third‑party relationships with associations and media as part of the overarching Chambers USA marketing strategy.

- Strong understanding of marketing principles and brand management concepts, with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage budgets, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and analyse the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data‑driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to align messaging and achieve common goals.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Results‑oriented with a focus on driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.

Person Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience in marketing, with at least five years in a leadership role focused on brand strategy and demand.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies in the U.S. market, preferably in the legal or professional services industry.
