Manager, Digital User Experience (UX) Design

Key Responsibilities
Build and lead (coach, develop, and mentor) the Digital UX Design team, providing direction to ensure high‑quality work and timely project delivery.
Define and drive a clear UX strategy that aligns with product roadmaps, business goals, and user needs.
Inspire and guide the team to deliver user‑centered design solutions that improve usability, satisfaction, and measurable outcomes.
Translate user research and behavioral data into actionable design insights and strategic direction.
Review and provide feedback on UX deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards, accessibility guidelines, and business needs.
Collaborate with the Digital Design System team to define and support strategies that ensure consistent UX patterns across all internal and customer‑facing digital channels.
Partner with our Digital Agency of Record and internal UI team to ensure cohesive and consistent digital experiences.
Facilitate design sprint workshops and collaborative working sessions to rapidly explore, prototype, and validate new experience concepts, ensuring solutions are grounded in a deep understanding of user needs and business goals.
Identify and recommend modern UX trends, technologies, and tools to improve the UX design process and outcomes.
Advocate for best UX practices and principles within the organization, educating and influencing stakeholders.
Help source vendors and manage those relationships, as needed, to support business goals.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience in people leadership.
10+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on interaction design, information architecture, and user flows for web and/or mobile applications.
Experience leading teams of UX specialists such as UX Designers, Accessibility Specialists, Information Architects, and/or UX Researchers.
Strong knowledge of user‑centered design principles, interaction design, and UX strategy.
Solid understanding of web and mobile design guidelines, accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and UX research methodologies.
Familiarity in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups using tools such as Figma or similar software.
Knowledge of digital accessibility design and human-centered design methods.
Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to influence product and design decisions through strategic thinking and user advocacy.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field.
Previous retail, e‑commerce, or operations design experience is highly desirable.
Experience using Figma, collaboration tools (e.g. Mural, Miro), and prototyping tools preferred.
Strong portfolio showcasing UX strategy, interaction design, and measurable impact on user experience.
