The Broadcast Producer’s primary role is to produce and provide technical support for TPN’s livestream and virtual education events for behavioral health professionals. In addition they will support the larger Video Production department in the creation and editing of “On-Demand Education” content and any visual/video content the user faces
Duties/Responsibilities:
Producing livestreams of virtual events i.e. conferences, webinars, and symposiums
Providing professional tech support during events to ensure presenter and attendee satisfaction
Completing pre-event requirements in a timely manner (including hardware/software preparations for broadcasted livestreams)
Coordinating with company departments on event execution and post production
Editing recordings of TPN virtual events into deliverables for on-demand viewing
Occasionally communicating with users/presenters through various channels-- via email, online chat, phone call, or other available communication channels.
Providing constructive and timely feedback to enhance current production protocols
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience with Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), vMix, or comparable software encoders and vision mixers
Working knowledge of broadcast signal workflow, as well as the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively while under time constraints
Proficiency in teleconferencing (Zoom Meetings/Webinars)
Working knowledge of codecs/encoding video and audio formats
Working knowledge with DaVinci Resolve or comparable NLE
Comfortable troubleshooting Mac and Windows machines
Proficient working within the Google Suite
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to problem solve
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Education and Experience:
Some live event production experience is preferred
Livestream experience preferred
Comfortable with verbally communicating to behavioral health professionals
Working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint and other presentation software a plus
Working knowledge of NDI or comparable video/audio over IP tools a plus
