Position Overview
As the Communications and Creator Relations Specialist, you will lead day‑to‑day media and creator outreach across our portfolio. You’ll work across board games, puzzles, and other play experiences aimed at kids ages 0‑7+ and families. In addition to media, you will oversee relationships with content creators on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch to amplify product launches, events, and brand storytelling.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Media Relations (Product Launches): Assist with and support execution of product launches and building partner brands for individual products. This includes press releases, seeding samples, and overseeing media training for staff and inventors.
- Creator Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and nurture long‑term partnerships with influencers and content creators in the parenting, toy and family gaming spaces. Plan and execute creator campaigns across product launches, promotions, and events—owning timelines, creative briefs, assets, and deliverables.
- Corporate Communications: Engaging in corporate communications for the whole company and/or individual brands as needed, including awards submissions.
- Event Management: Participate in companywide consumer shows to manage on‑site media and creators as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Established media relationships
- Strong writing skills
- Events experience
- Social media experience
- Familiar with project management and media relations software
Education and Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of in‑house or agency public relations experience
- Bachelor's Degree
