Offer Description The research activity focuses on the acquisition and analysis of visual data, such as images and videos, for the monitoring and understanding of procedural activities in laboratory and industrial environments, aimed at the timely recognition of errors and anomalies. In particular, a computer vision system based on a network of cameras will be developed for the real-time 3D reconstruction and understanding under of the working environment. Specifically, the activities involve processing data obtained from a network of 3D cameras to provide a 3D semantic representation of the working environment and highlight the operator's main interactions with elements in the scene; these interactions will then have to be analyzed and compared with a nominal process procedure to highlight errors or deviations in the operator's current operations.
Eligibility
Italian or foreign candidates who possess, by the deadline for submitting applications for admission to the selection, a PhD degree or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad.
Candidates enrolled in the final year of a PhD program, provided that the degree is expected to be obtained within six months from the date of publication of the selection call on the University’s Official Notice Board.
