Job Description Summary:
As Senior Manager, Product Marketing you will be responsible for crafting the product marketing vision and narrative for Venmo’s commerce offerings. You will partner closely with Product, Commercial, Marketing, and Research teams to drive both inbound and outbound product marketing initiatives—helping Venmo expand its role as a trusted commerce platform for consumers and merchants alike.
Essential Responsibilities:
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to drive product commercial success
Champion customer needs to ensure products address key pain points and deliver value
Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates
Build a deep understanding of markets, competitors, and regulatory landscapes to inform strategy
Collaborate with client‑facing teams to gather customer feedback and refine product positioning
Support the launch of new markets and offers by coordinating with global and regional teams
Lead the prioritization and execution of marketing campaigns to increase adoption and market share
Provide expertise on product capabilities, value propositions, and best use cases
Monitor product performance metrics and identify opportunities for growth and optimization
Drive commercial readiness by developing positioning, messaging, and cross‑channel launch strategies
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
8–10 years of product marketing experience, with 5+ in leadership roles, ideally within tech, fintech, or commerce/digital payments.
Proven track record of launching and scaling commerce or payment products in competitive markets.
Strong analytical skills with deep experience in market research, customer insights, and performance measurement.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, able to translate complex commerce solutions into compelling narratives.
Experienced in leading cross‑functional initiatives in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
People management experience, with a focus on coaching and developing high‑performing teams.
Passion for product, payments, and the evolving commerce landscape.
