Designers in this role will have the opportunity to work on projects across all Cooper Pacific brands, including Cabbonet and John Michael Studio, and directly with iconic luxury brands such as La Cornue, Gaggenau, Sub-Zero Wolf, and more.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle, and requirements. Consult with clients on design, materials, and budgets with professionalism, sophistication, and strong sales acumen. Create innovative, personalized kitchen designs using the highest quality materials and finishes. Produce detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and presentations to communicate design concepts effectively. Specify appliances, fixtures, cabinetry, and accessories, ensuring aesthetic and functional harmony. Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and installation teams to deliver exceptional results. Contribute to projects across all Cooper Pacific brands, including Cabbonet and John Michael Studio. Work directly with premium luxury brands including La Cornue, Gaggenau, Sub-Zero Wolf, and more. Drive sales, manage client relationships, and close deals to meet project and revenue goals. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and timelines. Stay informed about industry trends, premium brands, and luxury finishes. Travel out-of-state to client sites as needed to ensure project success. Qualifications:
Proven experience and 5 years as a kitchen or interior designer with luxury residential projects and sales. Demonstrated luxury level sales experience, with the ability to close high value deals. Knowledge of domestic and European cabinetry construction and millwork, premium appliances, and luxury finishes. Portfolio showcasing luxury residential kitchen projects highlighting creativity, attention to detail, and design sensibility. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar). Exceptional communication, presentation, and client service skills. Strong organizational abilities and project management experience. Impeccable attention to detail and an eye for luxury design. Professional appearance appropriate for high end client interactions. Must be able to travel out of state for client meetings and project oversight. Ability to conceptualize bold, innovative designs while maintaining functionality and client lifestyle needs. Salary Range: $100,000 – $200,000 (compensation closely tied to sales performance and includes commission). Comprehensive health insurance and 401(k) with company contribution.
