McFarland Clinic is currently seeking a Technical Analyst to join our telecommunications team. This role will focus on supporting and maintaining VoIP phone systems and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. The candidates need to reside in the state of Iowa. This position is not a remote position.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP systems and related hardware/software.
Apply system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
Diagnose and resolve call quality issues, connectivity problems, and system errors.
Implement and maintain security protocols for voice systems; ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Maintain accurate records of configurations, changes and maintenance activities.
Work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Education
Associate's Degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Days:
Monday - Friday, with occasional evening or weekend, plus on call rotation
Hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience
3+ years telecommunication experience
SIP, SBC and Voice Gateway experience
Structural Cabling (CAT5 and 6)
Strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication, and collaborative mindset
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
