About the role
As a Senior Product Designer for Waypoint, you’ll help us maintain a focus on user experience across Waypoint and identify strategic opportunities for improvement and integration with Terraform. You’ll work with cross‑functional peers to drive awareness and prioritize initiatives to improve the user experience measurably. You’ll contribute to product strategy and vision discussions and help drive alignment through the work of the team.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and other cross‑functional teams to envision innovative workflows for provisioning and deploying infrastructure over multiple public and private clouds, and improve the user experience measurably.
You will craft usable, useful, valuable, accessible, and delightful experiences for platform engineering teams, developers, and their organizations. You’ll guide, mentor, and collaborate with product designers across the team to ensure alignment.
Responsibilities Discover and specify strategic opportunities for improvement through generative research. Inform product strategy, shape product design vision and direction, and conduct evaluative research to recommend the best path forward. Drive alignment across the team and participate in product strategy and vision discussions.
Required education High School Diploma/GED
Preferred education Bachelor’s Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

You have established yourself as a professional enterprise Product Designer.
You have experience designing for complex enterprise software for infrastructure, developer tooling, or developer experience.
