As a Civil Design Technician, you’ll create accurate, detailed construction drawings that support the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects. Working closely with our engineering team, you’ll use Autodesk Civil 3D to prepare plans, profiles, calculations, and quantities for utility, grading, roadway, and site development projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to grow a long-term career in civil design within a supportive, team-oriented environment. Compensation
– $22 -$46 / hour (DOE) – Regular Full-time, Non-Exempt Position – HSA Health, Dental, and Vision Plan (Employee and Family Members) – Company-paid Life Insurance and Disability Plan – Company-matching 401k Retirement Plan – Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick Leave Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed civil construction drawings and plan sets using Autodesk Civil 3D Design site layouts, grading, and utility systems (water, sewer, storm drain, irrigation, roadways) Coordinate with project engineers to meet design goals and schedules Provide project quantities and calculations Apply municipal design standards and specifications to ensure compliance Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting workflows and design templates Required Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and computational abilities Team-oriented, proactive, detail-focused, and committed to following established design standards and procedures Professional appearance and positive, friendly demeanor Preferred Qualifications
