The Video Production Specialist is responsible for leading the end-to-end video creation process to support Purdue Federal Credit Union’s brand, member education, marketing, and internal communication initiatives. This position develops and optimizes video content for social media channels, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Key responsibilities include scriptwriting, storyboarding, filming, and editing to produce polished, engaging video content. This role will deliver high-quality content that aligns with the credit union’s brand further strengthening connections with its audiences.

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content covering a wide range of topics, including financial education, member tutorials, promotional campaigns, employee interviews, events, and internal communications.
  • Write scripts, develop storyboards, and translate creative concepts into compelling visual narratives.
  • Lead and coordinate video shoots, including scheduling, directing staff and talent, managing equipment, and ensuring quality production standards.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and other departments to identify opportunities for video content that support organizational initiatives and member engagement.
  • Assist in ideation and development of creative video concepts, ensuring content is innovative, engaging, and audience-focused.
  • Edit and format videos for multiple platforms, optimizing for web, mobile, and social media distribution, with attention to accessibility and user experience.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, graphics, and audio elements to enhance storytelling and reinforce brand consistency.
  • Maintain and organize video equipment, digital assets, and file libraries for efficient access and re-use.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with Purdue Federal’s brand standards, tone, and visual identity.
  • Track performance metrics for video campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in using video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Rush, or Adobe After Effects
  • Knowledge in camera work (DSLR and smartphone) and audio recording
  • Knowledge in motion graphics and graphic design principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or better.

Experience

  • 3 years of video production for marketing purposes
