Teacher, Television and Radio Broadcasting Camden City School District invites all qualified and interested candidates to apply for the position of Teacher – Television and Radio Broadcasting.

Pay Range Base pay: $59,127/year — actual pay based on skills and experience.

Location Camden City School District, Camden, NJ.

Job Type Full-time, ten‑month, tenureable position.

Role Overview The Television Broadcasting Teacher will serve as a classroom leader who works to provide exceptional instruction, prepare students for industry‑recognized certification, and meet New Jersey State Standards.

Minimum Requirements

Valid NJ Instructional Certificate: Television Broadcasting (Endorsement Code: 4102)

Five (5) years of experience in the field.

Proficiency in television broadcasting theory necessary to prepare students to pass the state competency exam.

Required criminal background check, physical exam, and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.

Role & Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality, differentiated instruction and set rigorous academic and behavioral goals.

Align instruction to district educational goals, focusing on high standards.

Plan and deliver content covering, but not limited to, computer repair and Cisco networking.

Design comprehensive lesson, unit, and long‑term plans.

Co‑plan with Special Education teachers as needed.

Track student achievement data and use data to inform instruction.

Deliver constructive feedback to improve academic performance.

Implement classroom rules and enforce consequences.

Maintain grade and attendance records.

Incorporate technology into lessons.

Engage in continual professional growth.

Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

Participate in professional development, planning, and data meetings.
