Associate Director, Market Access Marketing Reports to the VP of Global Marketing (with a dotted reporting line to the Senior Director of Market Access Strategy) and is a critical member of the U.S. organization supporting Dompé’s breakthrough therapy, Oxervate, the first and only ophthalmic biologic product for patients suffering from neurotrophic keratitis (NK).

Your Role at Dompé The Associate Director partners with the Market Access team to develop and execute access strategies, including payer and patient services brand materials, aimed at optimizing payer coverage and enhancing access for eye care providers (ECPs), patients, and Dompé sales and reimbursement teams.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Market Access team to create compelling payer value propositions, messaging, and resources tailored for commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Collaborate with the access team to understand payor needs and co‑create payer resources.

Develop access and fulfillment messaging and resources for ECPs, patients, and office staff.

Work cross‑functionally with PRC (medical, legal, regulatory, compliance) partners to produce compliant, impactful materials.

Collaborate with the insights and analytics team to make data‑driven decisions supporting business strategy and goals.

Partner with the Market Access organization to remove access barriers and improve prescribing.

Participate in the brand planning process, contributing to workshops, ideation sessions, and final plan development.

Gather insights from key account managers (KAMs) and field account managers (FAMs) to inform strategic and executional decisions supporting ECP and patient access.

Gather insights from patient account managers (PAMs) to inform the role and improve patient access.

Collaborate with the Patient Services team to create and maintain marketing resources promoting Dompé Care 2 Connect (DC2C), the hub connecting prescribed patients with products.

Work cross‑functionally and compliantly with marketing, sales, market access, and PRC teams to ensure resources meet customer needs and identify opportunities for experience improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or master’s level degree a plus.

6+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical‑device commercial experience, with at least 2 years in market access roles.

Proven experience partnering cross‑functionally.

Experience managing external vendors, including agencies of record (AORs).

Recent ophthalmology experience a plus (ideally in the anterior segment).

Experience working with hub vendors that liaise between patients, ECP offices, and specialty pharmacies.

Self‑driven, results‑oriented work history.

Ability to collaborate with market research to translate customer insights into activities that drive business.

A self‑starter capable of taking action on challenges with adequate planning.

Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical legal and regulatory requirements and material approval processes.

Experience with cross‑functional review committees.

Technical Skills

Creating resources for patients, physicians, office staff, and payors on product benefits and fulfillment options.

Partnering with AORs to create impactful campaigns and resources.

Metrics‑driven mindset with experience analyzing user behavior and marketing activity to improve customer experience.

Understanding of various vehicles for generating insights and understanding target audience behaviors and needs.

Experience with legal and regulatory requirements and the health‑care material review process.

Compensation Salary range: $175,000 – $210,000 per year.
