The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GitHub, HTML, and CSS, and be skilled in producing clear, concise, and engaging content that communicates complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a variety of technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, tutorials, and release notes. Collaborate closely with engineers, developers, and product managers to gather information and fully understand the technical details of our products. Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure it is clear, accurate, and consistent. Utilize GitHub for version control and collaborative writing, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and aligned with the latest code changes. Create and maintain web-based documentation using HTML and CSS to provide accessible and well-structured content. Ensure all documentation adheres to the company's style guide and branding guidelines. Continuously update and improve existing documentation to reflect new features, updates, and enhancements. Conduct content reviews and incorporate feedback from various stakeholders to refine and enhance the documentation quality. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field. 10 years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the technology industry. Proficiency with GitHub for version control and collaboration. Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS for creating and maintaining web-based documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and documentation tools. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player
