DESCRIPTION: At Amazon, we are reinventing how to attract and hire exceptional talent at scale. The Attraction, Influence, and Marketing organization is seeking a high-judgment, well-organized, self-motivated, and creative digital communicator to oversee a team of social media managers. This role will lead our employer brand presence across all owned talent social channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Threads, driving innovation and scaling our reach to fuel Amazon's hiring needs.

As a successful candidate, you'll have a proven track record of rolling up your sleeves to strategize and execute bar-raising social content focused on driving awareness and consideration of Amazon as a top employer. You should live and breathe social, meaning you're familiar with the full spectrum of social formats (text-only, photos, short- and long-form video, animations, memes, etc.) and tactics (creators/influencers, partnerships, community management, issues management, etc.). You should also have an intimate understanding of the current digital/social media landscape, be a strategic thinker, people leader, goal oriented, and excel in a fast-paced, start-up culture. This is a role that requires both strong creative and analytical chops-on a team that works hard and has fun.

Key job responsibilities • Content Strategy & Calendar Management: Own and manage the global content calendar across all employer brand social channels, ensuring strategic alignment with hiring priorities, recruitment events, and business objectives. Drive content planning and execution while maintaining flexibility for real-time opportunities and emerging priorities. • Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing team of social media managers, providing mentorship, career development, and strategic guidance • Stakeholder Management: Partner with recruitment teams and business leaders to align social strategy with hiring priorities • Innovation: Drive experimentation and testing of new social platforms and formats to reach diverse talent pools • Content Ownership: Conceptualize and execute best-in-class social content - using a range of formats and tactics - that's driven by customer obsession, audience insights, social trends, and the public environment. • Social Series Development: Develop and execute content series across Amazon's verticals and priorities • Measurement and Evaluation: Collect, interpret, and report social data/analytics through native and third-party tools. Leverage that data as a flywheel to drive continual improvement of content against benchmarks. • Platforms: Stay on top of the latest trends and developments across all social media platforms, while making sure content is tailored to the audiences and nuances of specific channels. • Social tactics: Use influencers, partnerships, collaborations, and other tactics to drive business goals and content performance. • Advice and Learning: Leverage expertise to help other teams and partners understand social's role and impact; provide proactive and reactive counsel to internal stakeholders as needed.

About the team Amazon's Attraction, Influence, and Marketing organization is a dynamic team of marketing professionals dedicated to attracting and engaging top talent across Amazon's diverse business segments. We operate at the intersection of marketing innovation and talent acquisition, leveraging data-driven insights and emerging social strategies to build Amazon's employer brand. Our team is focused on delivering scalable solutions that drive hiring efficiency while attracting the best talent. We're passionate about storytelling, innovation, and using technology to transform how we connect with potential talent across Amazon and AWS. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field - Experience managing teams - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams - Experience with industry standard social listening and campaign management tools - Experience working with data and leveraging analytics to make decisions - Experience with features, trends, and developments across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. - Experience using design and video editing software, including CapCut, Canva, Adobe, and on-platform editing and creation tools PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience managing social media accounts for large brands with wide reach (50k+ followers) - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience with employer brand social media metrics and recruitment marketing - Knowledge of recruiting/hiring trends and talent acquisition landscape - Experience managing social media crisis communications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
