What you’ll do The Marketing Manager manages work‑winning, client engagement and marketing production efforts for a privately‑owned commercial general contractor in Atlanta, Georgia. This team member spends 65% of their time working with various internal stakeholders to manage the production of RFQ/RFP responses and interview presentations using Adobe InDesign; and 35% of his or her time managing other marketing and client engagement initiatives, including ad/social media, web content, events and promotional items, photography, collateral, data management and tactical execution of all other strategic marketing initiatives.
Manage the production of all RFQ/RFP packages, including compliance, written and graphic content, and editing with support from marketing coordinator and input from internal stakeholders
Ensure responsiveness and on‑time delivery of all RFQ/RFP packages and client deliverables and produce deliverables in alignment with company and project‑specific marketing strategy
Develop interview materials including presentations, graphics, and physical hand‑outs, lead interview preparation and practice sessions, and manage production schedule including content and graphics
Update and maintain marketing collateral including resumes, project sheets, proposal materials, templates, boilerplate information, etc
Develop and implement solutions that improve the efficiency of the work‑winning, data capture, and engagement initiatives
Manage CRM and refine processes and best practices for data management
Serve as brand steward and support the evolution of branding guidelines
Track deliverables and progress against annual Marketing budget
Manage multiple projects concurrently, delegate and prioritize deliverables with direct reports
Collaborate with diverse groups of internal stakeholders
Position requirements The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, fast, organized, personable, and detail oriented. He or she is a strong communicator and critical thinker who regularly identifies solutions as challenges arise. This person thrives in a deadline‑driven environment, adapts to varying ways of working, and can effectively deliver against concurrent project timelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience
5‑7 years experience managing the execution of marketing initiatives in a fast‑paced, corporate environment, preferable in the architecture / engineering / construction (AEC) field or similar professional services industry
Minimum 3 years experience producing responsive RFQ/RFP packages and presentations
Demonstrated strengths in multi‑tasking, organization, project management and prioritizing multiple hard deadlines and long‑term projects
Skills Required: Adobe CC proficiency (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), editing, proof‑reading, design layout, project management, multi‑tasking, problem‑solving, managing CRM software (Salesforce, Cosential, Deltek)
