Our organization is a small nonprofit organization serving the Oromo community in Portland, is seeking an experienced grant writer on a contract or freelance basis. We provide vital services to both youth and elderly community members, including employment support, tutoring, cultural awareness, education, health education, immigration assistance, and other social services. The grant writer will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, writing and submitting proposals, and supporting the organization’s efforts to secure funding for its programs. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in nonprofit grant writing, strong research and communication skills, and a passion for community-based work, particularly with immigrant and refugee populations.
