The Advanced Advertising Account Specialist is a key partner in providing post‑sale support for the Enterprise National Advanced Sales and Account Management Teams. The position serves as a strategic cross‑functional partner between Sales, Account Management, and various teams (Yield & Inventory, AdOps, Finance) to execute, manage, optimize, report, bill and steward Spectrum's national advanced business post‑sale activities.
Responsibilities
Partner with Account Managers and Sales to understand client KPI's and campaign specifications, and work with cross‑functional teams to execute on those goals.
Execute advanced campaigns post‑sale in order management systems efficiently and accurately across all buy strategies, both direct IO and programmatic.
Provide in‑flight campaign management and stewardship for all advanced campaigns, ensuring execution accuracy, proper creative implementation, pacing monitoring, and reporting to align with client KPIs.
Troubleshoot and ensure campaign setups deliver accurately, acting as a resource for Account Managers.
Work with AdOps to confirm correct campaign and creative fulfillment, tagging strategy implementation, and provide optimization strategy based on KPI's.
Review and evaluate campaign effectiveness, driving account strategy for client retention and positioning new business.
Maximize inventory usage and understand product capabilities to ensure proposal delivery.
Manage campaign invoicing, billing and reconciliation in partnership with Sales.
Required Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication with the ability to translate data and research into compelling stories.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail in a fast‑paced sales environment.
Familiarity with digital marketing, online campaign development, metrics, and optimization strategies.
Ability to differentiate between client needs (e.g., branding vs. call‑to‑action campaigns).
Experience writing rationales and agency POVs.
Understanding of reach and frequency when measuring campaigns.
Analytical mindset to identify data‑based solutions.
Strong logic for creating schedules and backing up work.
1‑2 years of media sales campaign management and experience reviewing digital advertising performance and execution.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Required Related Work Experience and Years
Strong brand, product, integrated marketing and/or advertising sales marketing experience—3+ years.
Preferred Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of digital solutions and advanced advertising products.
Technical expertise in programmatic, digital solutions, and advanced advertising products.
Experience and strong knowledge of SSP & DSP platforms.
Clear knowledge of media terms as well as media formulas & calculations.
Previous experience supporting a team of Sales, advertising, or marketing professionals.
Experience in an Ad Agency, Media, and/or Ad Sales.
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Related Work Experience and Years
Experience in Advertising Sales and digital campaign management in the Programmatic space.

Base pay for this position is generally between $68,000.00 and $78,600.00 . Compensation will also consider factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and offer additional incentive‑based compensation such as bonuses.
