Overview

The Advanced Advertising Account Specialist is a key partner in providing post-sale support for the Enterprise National Advanced Sales and Account Management Teams. This position will efficiently act as a strategic cross‑functional partner between Sales, Account Management, and various cross‑functional teams (i.e., Yield & Inventory, AdOps, Finance) as they execute, manage & optimize, report, bill and steward Spectrum’s national advanced managed service business post‑sale to ensure the proper campaign elements are received and executed as intended.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Managers and Sales to understand client KPIs/campaign specs and work with multiple cross‑functional teams to execute on those goals.
  • Execute advanced campaigns post‑sale in order management systems efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide in‑flight campaign management and stewardship on all advanced campaigns, ensuring accurate campaign execution, proper creative implementation, monitoring pacing, and reporting to meet client KPIs and expectations.
  • Partner with Account Managers as a resource to troubleshoot and ensure campaigns are set up correctly to deliver accurately.
  • Work cross‑functionally with AdOps to ensure correct campaign and creative fulfillment, tagging strategy implementation, and provide optimization strategy based on KPIs.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Sales to review and evaluate campaign effectiveness, driving account strategy for retaining clients and positioning new business.
  • Show solid understanding of product capabilities and maximize inventory usage to ensure proposal delivery.
  • Key liaison with cross‑functional partners (Sales, Account Management, Ad Operations, Yield & Inventory, Finance, etc.).
  • Partner with Sales to manage campaign invoicing, billing, and reconciliation.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to craft and tell a compelling story.
  • Attention to detail in a fast‑paced sales environment.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, including online campaign development, metrics, and optimization strategies.
  • Ability to differentiate client needs (branding campaigns vs. call‑to‑action) and design appropriate schedules.
  • Experience writing rationales and agency points of view.
  • Understanding of reach, frequency, and media measurement.
  • Analytical mindset focused on data‑driven solutions.
  • Ability to back up work and create logical schedules.
  • Media sales campaign management experience (1–2 years), including review of digital advertising performance and execution.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Required Experience

Strong brand, product, integrated marketing and/or advertising sales marketing experience – 3+ years.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of digital solutions and advanced advertising products.
  • Technical expertise in programmatic, digital solutions, and advanced advertising products.
  • Experience with SSP & DSP platforms.
  • Clear knowledge of media terms, formulas, and calculations.
  • Previous experience supporting a team of Sales, advertising, or marketing professionals.
  • Previous experience in an Ad Agency, Media, and/or Ad Sales.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Compensation

The base pay for this position generally is between $60,480.00 and $96,720.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
