* **Expertise:** Deep knowledge of the tax rules impacting nonqualified annuities and IRAs is required. Extensive knowledge of annuity products and experience with the income and estate planning needs for the agricultural community are pluses.* **Communications Acumen:** Ability to deliver effective presentations in group settings, speak with partners 1-on-1, and write authentically are critical skills for the role.* **Qualifications:** Series 6 is required within 120 days of hire. A JD is a preferred. CPA or CFP in lieu of JD may be considered.* **Travel:** 15-25% travel is required to engage with partners, attend industry functions, and represent Nationwide at various forums.* **Drive Sales:** Propel the sales of Nationwide’s products, with a focus on annuities.* **Consultative Excellence:** Provide top-notch retirement accumulation, retirement income, wealth transfer, and estate planning consulting services.* **Engagement:** Speak at firm, broker/dealer, and industry functions, showcasing your expertise and Nationwide’s ability to be the partner of choice.* **Content development:** Ability to create educational white papers, PowerPoint presentations, and other sales collateral on advanced planning concepts.**Experience:** Eight to 10 years of related experience in a combination of law, accounting or financial planning/sales.**Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:** Strong public speaking skills, persuasive writing skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Proven knowledge of business law, tax, accounting, sales or financial planning.
