As a Structural CAD Designer, you will produce detailed construction drawings, perform structural calculations, and support innovative boardwalk design projects using AutoCAD and proprietary tools. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Required Education and Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering Technology Proficiency in AutoCAD
General Requirements
Ability to work on fast-paced projects and meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organized, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects Comfortable working with minimal supervision Ability to read and understand construction drawings Capable of developing complete sets of construction and fabrication drawings Strong team collaboration and workload sharing skills
Essential Functions
Report to the Director of Engineering Operate in alignment with the company's core values Participate in engineering workload meetings as required Travel occasionally as needed Use AutoCAD to produce accurate construction and shop drawings Use proprietary DH CAD software to create preliminary drawings for the sales team Perform structural calculations for our client's components Apply relevant sections of AASHTO, ACI, ASCE, and applicable building codes Review and check peer drawings for accuracy Develop a deep understanding of our client's precast concrete boardwalk systems and manufacturing practices
