We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of modern, intuitive, and mission-critical digital experiences. This role focuses on enterprise applications that streamline complex workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the user experience across multiple systems. You will translate requirements into user-centered designs, develop scalable design systems, and collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in interface design with strong communication skills and the ability to guide design strategy across multiple platforms. This position allows for remote work with occasional travel and provides the opportunity to directly impact digital solutions in a security-sensitive, high-stakes environment. You will help shape the usability, accessibility, and visual consistency of critical enterprise applications.
Accountabilities

Lead UX/UI design for multiple enterprise applications, ensuring interfaces are user-centered, accessible, and visually consistent. ·
Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions. ·
Translate complex requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. ·
Develop and maintain scalable design systems, style guides, and reusable components; serve as Figma subject matter expert. ·
Design user journeys, process flows, and interaction models aligned with front-end and back-end system capabilities. ·
Collaborate with product owners, developers, business analysts, and Agile teams to ensure design integration and alignment with sprint goals. ·
Ensure designs comply with accessibility, security, and operational standards. ·
Communicate design concepts, rationale, and trade-offs effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. ·
Provide mentorship and promote user-centered design practices across teams. Requirements ·
U.S. Citizenship required. ·
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field. ·
8+ years of experience in UX/UI, product design, or human-centered design. ·
Strong portfolio demonstrating enterprise-level, workflow-heavy design solutions. ·
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma preferred, Adobe XD, Sketch, Axure). ·
Experience supporting Agile software development teams. ·
Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and security-sensitive environments. ·
Familiarity with front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) and back-end data flows. ·
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. ·
Ability to travel up to 15% for occasional client site visits. Preferred Qualifications: ·
Advanced expertise in Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, and design system management. ·
Experience designing for federal, DoD, or other security-sensitive environments. ·
Knowledge of additional design/research tools such as Miro or Axure. Benefits ·
