Job Summary
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will support our design team in creating visual content that engages and informs our audience. You will work on various projects, including digital and print media.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and production of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, and web content.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer creative input for design projects.
- Prepare and edit visual assets for both digital and print use.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and meet project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall creative process.
Minimum Requirements
- Current MSU student majoring in Graphic Design, Communications, Art, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and other design tools.
- Basic knowledge of design principles and typography.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
- A portfolio showcasing your design work is preferred but not required.
