Our client is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join their Indianapolis team. This role is responsible for the conceptualization and production of high-impact visual assets that support their racing safety products (helmets, suits, restraints) across all channels. The ideal candidate will blend strong aesthetic design skills with a practical understanding of motorsports culture and apparel production.
Responsibilities: Marketing & Advertising: Design and produce creative assets for digital advertising, print publications (magazine ads, catalogs, brochures), and email marketing campaigns.
Digital Content: Create engaging graphics, short-form motion graphics, and visual content for the company website, e-commerce platform, and all social media channels.
Product & Apparel Graphics: Develop and finalize graphics, logos, and layouts for application on race suits, crew apparel, and other merchandise, ensuring brand alignment and production feasibility.
Brand Consistency: Act as a brand steward, ensuring strict visual consistency and high-quality presentation across all internal and external materials.
Large Format & Events: Design banners, signage, booth displays, and collateral for use at motorsports trade shows and trackside events.
Production Management: Prepare final, press-ready files for various printing methods (offset, digital, screen printing, and large format) and manage relationships with external print vendors.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product development teams to translate product specifications and marketing goals into compelling visuals.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills: Motorsports Experience: Direct experience or deep familiarity with the motorsports, automotive, or action sports industry.
Motion Graphics: Proficiency in Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro for creating simple animations and video edits.
3D/CAD Familiarity: Basic understanding of 3D visualization or working with product schematics is a plus.
Education: Bachelors
Experience: 1-4 years
Qualifications: Software Expertise: High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, ideally within a manufacturing, retail, or fast-paced agency environment.
Technical Print Knowledge: Strong understanding of print production processes, color management (CMYK/Pantone), resolution, and pre-press file preparation.
Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing mastery of typography, layout, branding, and color theory across both digital and print mediums.
Communication: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
