We are seeking a strategic and versatile
Content & Communication Specialist
to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role blends content creation with vendor coordination, ensuring that all written materials—whether produced in-house or externally—reflect the firm’s brand voice and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be a skilled writer and editor, capable of producing compelling content while managing projects and communications deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Lead external communication strategy and messaging.
Provide strategic guidance briefs and background materials.
Write engaging, brand-aligned content for the firm’s website, marketing collateral, and thought leadership.
Experience speaking to media and pitching content and interviews.
Translate complex legal and professional concepts into accessible, client-friendly language.
Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all internally produced materials.
Align all content—internal and external—with broader marketing campaigns and strategic priorities.
Monitor industry trends and competitor messaging to inform content strategy.
Develop and execute firm-wide internal communications initiatives.
Support internal communications and projects as needed.
Partner with internal departments to continuously improve communication across the firm.
Accolade & Awards
Coordinate the submission process for industry awards and accolades.
Contribute to editorial calendar planning and ensure timely delivery of content.
Manage the distribution of finalized accolades and press releases across appropriate channels.
Edit and refine outsourced materials to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand alignment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in content creation, communications, or public relations—preferably within a professional services or legal environment.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Experience managing external vendors or agencies.
Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AI writing tools, and content management systems.
Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

The annual compensation range for this position is between $70,000 and $82,000.
