This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. It offers a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast‑growing specialty agency. The Social Media Advertising Strategist (Internal Title: Account Strategist, LinkedIn Advertising) works directly with mid‑market and enterprise clients, communicates results, creates custom strategies, and executes Paid Media deliverables. You will gain experience creating high‑performing LinkedIn strategies for B2B businesses.
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts
Serve as direct support to client contacts
Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, work quality, and improvements
Build strategies for clients each quarter
Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions
Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
Responsible for personal productivity and utilisation
Work directly with the Associate Director to ensure internal and client goals are achieved
Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
Drive cross‑sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships and professional network
Execute and optimise advertising campaigns within LinkedIn including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximise ROI
What You Offer
2+ years experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency, supporting B2B clients
Deep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
Understanding of different ad units within LinkedIn (conversation ads, document ads, CTV, etc.)
Proficiency with advertising platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, and more
Strong understanding of paid principles: keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimisation
Ability to analyse campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel or other analytics platforms
Drive results and measure via OCT
Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
Proven success with mid‑market or enterprise accounts
Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
Equal parts competitive and curious; a true problem solver

Organise, prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Quality‑obsessed and dedicated to high‑standard advertising
Travel to visit clients approximately once per year if required

Meet and exceed departmental KPIs such as client growth and goal attainment – core KPIs will be client NSMs (North Star Metrics) and Client Satisfaction scores
Build client trust and relationships that create consistent renewals
Cross‑sell services aligned with client goals and objectives
Communicate results clearly with the client point of contact and executives
Make exceptional decisions regarding strategic direction for accounts

Annual base salary range: $70,000 – $80,000 USD (American‑based)

Work Environment Requirements As a remote‑first company, you’ll have the ability to work from anywhere in the U.S., with the option to enjoy our state‑of‑the‑art offices in Irvine, California. For selected positions, we accommodate global opportunities where we have established businesses, including Canada, the UK, and Australia. Global positions require you to have valid work authorization and permanently reside in that country.
This role operates 100% virtually from your home office, collaborating primarily via Zoom and Slack. You will use a laptop (PC or Mac) and required software platforms. You must remain stationary for extended periods, observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication, have reliable internet, and maintain a professional background.
