Library System Services Coordinator
Billings School District 2 is seeking a Library System Services Coordinator to work in the warehouse. Schedule: 12 Month; Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Wage: $18.94 per hour for 90-day probationary period, then $21.04 per hour. Benefits: Fully Paid Insurance; PERS Retirement; Vacation/Sick Days. Job Responsibilities: Enter and maintain records for literature sets and user records. Pull and ship daily literature book assignments. Inventory, check-in and re-shelf literature book sets when they are returned. Correspond with teachers and principals when books are late or missing. Submit bills for lost or damaged books when necessary. Design, format and print posters and banners using a wide format printer. Laminate materials sent in from schools. Submit billing for all poster, banner, and laminating jobs through journal entry. Maintain textbook inventory in computer tracking system. Create new records. Keep track of stock and reorder as necessary. Inventory, record, and shelve all curriculum materials returned to the warehouse. Process requests from schools for textbooks and teacher materials. Enter and update records in the textbook tracking program. Create barcodes for new and updated textbooks. Barcode textbooks. Order supplies, equipment and other materials necessary for the daily operations of the Teacher Resource Center. Follow up with schools and vendors on orders as necessary. Answer phones, field questions and coordinate with other departments to process requests. Submit purchase orders and warehouse requisitions. Create and update Adopted Resources Catalogs, Literature Set Catalogs and Inventory Sheets. Restock and shelve textbooks and teacher materials. Pull, pack and ship orders. Assist with the Bid process for selling used textbooks. Coordinate with volunteers and paid helpers in the summer and occasionally throughout the year.
