Shopbop is seeking an experienced Photographer to join our e-commerce photography team in our Madison, WI studio.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to capture high-quality, visually compelling images of a wide range of products both on and off model. The ability to work collaboratively within interdependent teams is a must, so the right person will have an understanding of the balance needed between artistry, organization, communication, and cooperation.
Key job responsibilities
• \tProduce consistently high-quality, color-accurate, and properly exposed images
• \tPerform a variety of standardized product photography with a high level of competence
• \tWork with senior photographers on lighting, visual aesthetics, and technical problem-solving
• \tEfficiently manage high-volume image workflows (~ 3,000 files per day)
• \tVerify color accuracy and make corrections as needed to maintain visual standards
• \tTroubleshoot on-set challenges decisively and communicate issues to relevant stakeholders
• \tExecute creative direction and articulate rationale for decisions to support our brand vision
• \tIdentify process improvements to enhance studio performance and productivity
• \tInnovate new approaches for shooting emerging categories or initiatives
• \tMaintain studio equipment, props, and supplies
• \tProvide feedback to ensure successful implementation of new processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• \tBachelors Degree
• \t2+ years of experience in a fast-paced e-commerce photography studio
• \tExcellent command of lighting techniques and photography software (Capture One, Photoshop, Lightroom)
• \tStrong understanding of color profile management and ability to color correct
• \tAbility to work effectively in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment
• \tExcellent communication and collaboration skills
• \tExceptional attention to detail and work ethic
• \tCompelling portfolio showcasing fashion photograph
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• \tEditorial or studio photography experience
• \tNetwork within the fashion industry
• \tFamiliarity with Mac OS and scripting capabilities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $101,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
