We are looking for a Technical Writer to create installation manuals, user manuals, and supporting documentation for industrial hardware products used in a robotics environment. This role turns engineering content into polished, user-ready documentation.

We are looking for a Technical Writer to create installation manuals, user manuals, and supporting documentation for industrial hardware products used in a robotics environment. This role turns engineering content into polished, user-ready documentation.
What You'll Do
- Develop installation manuals for an industrial hardware panel (mounting, wiring, configuration, safety).
- Create customer-facing user manuals and configuration guides.
- Convert engineering notes, diagrams, and SME input into polished documents.
- Interview engineers and SMEs to gather missing technical details.
- Produce supplemental materialsincluding diagrams, quick-start guides, and data sheets.
- Ensure content is accurate, clear, consistent, and aligned with user needs.
- 3+ years technical writing experience in hardware, industrial, or electro-mechanical environments.
- Strong experience producing installation and user manuals.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and configuration flows.
- Excellent writing and communication skills; able to work independently.
- Experience with industrial panels, automation systems, control systems, or robotics.
- Ability to produce supporting diagrams and visual aids.
- Familiarity with modern documentation tools.
- Onsite for initial ramp-up and discovery
- Remote/flexible for final deliverables
