Appointment Type: Limited-Term

Title/Rank: Clinical Assistant Professor

Primary Location: OU Health Science Center - Oklahoma City, OK

Primary Responsibilities:

This is primarily a clinical position with service and teaching responsibilities appropriate to the applicant's experience and expertise.

Clinical supervision of student interns in the Doctor of Audiology program Continuous direct patient care within the John W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center Instruction of didactic coursework to undergraduate and professional students Participation in the academic missions of the department, college, and university. Qualifications

Required:

Applicants must possess, or be eligible for, audiology licensure in Oklahoma. Applicants must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and have completed at least one year of successful work experience after earning the CCC-A. In addition, applicants must have completed at least two (2) hours of professional development in clinical instruction/supervision. Applicants should possess excellent communication, team building, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Preferences (Not Required)

Experience with pediatric diagnostics and treatment, proficiency with the major hearing aid manufacturers, and previous supervision experience.
