Join a newsroom of dedicated editors and reporters committed to producing an outstanding newspaper and delivering strong, thoughtful journalism that helps our readers better understand the issues shaping their community.
In this critical role, we're looking for someone who goes beyond meeting coverage to uncover the stories that matter most to Greene County. Our newsroom is close-knit and supportive. We work hard, take pride in our craft, and encourage one another's success-while also valuing a healthy work-life balance.
The Greeneville Sun publishes six days a week: five days in print and online, and one day as an e-edition. Many stories appear online before running in print. Greeneville sits near the Great Smoky Mountains, and our coverage focuses primarily on Greene County, Tennessee.
If you're passionate about journalism and eager to grow your career, this is an excellent opportunity. We are interviewing now, so please apply soon. Recent graduates with internship or student newspaper experience are encouraged to apply.
