Volunteer Position: Graphic Designer
INVISIBLE ILLNESS AWARENESS NETWORK NFP, Hoffman, Illinois, United States, 62250
We are looking for a creative Graphic Designer to help us bring our mission to life visually. In this role, you will design a variety of graphics, from simple promotional images to medical or condition-related visuals used in our educational programs and social media.
This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about design, health communication, accessibility, and nonprofit impact.
What You’ll Do
Create graphics for IIAN’s social media, YouTube Thumbnails, promotional materials for events, and educational materials.
Design both medical/informational graphics and general promotional visuals.
Ensure all designs are accessible (clear text, high contrast, alt text considerations, readability, etc.).
What We’re Looking For
Some experience with graphic design (professional, academic, or self-taught are all welcome).
Ability to create clean, inclusive, easy-to-read designs.
Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar platforms.
Strong sense of visual communication and attention to detail.
Interest in accessible design and/or health communication (no medical expertise required).
Passion for IIAN’s mission and willingness to collaborate with a volunteer team.
