Social Media Marketing Advisor & Content Creator

We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Advisor & Content Creator to support our growing online presence. In this role, you’ll help strengthen our communication strategy and create content that is accurate, accessible, and empowering. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about health communication, public health, chronic illness advocacy, social media strategy, or nonprofit work. What You’ll Do Provide input and suggestions to strengthen IIAN’s social media strategy. Research chronic and invisible conditions and translate information into accessible social content. Create Instagram and LinkedIn graphics using Canva (or similar tools). Write clear, inclusive, accessibility-focused captions. Stay aware of trends in educational and nonprofit social media. What We’re Looking For Experience with social media content creation (Instagram preferred). Ability to explain medical or health-related topics in simple, accurate language. Familiarity with Canva (or similar tools) or a desire to learn. Interest in or lived experience with chronic/invisible illness (optional but welcomed).
