We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Advisor & Content Creator to support our growing online presence. In this role, you’ll help strengthen our communication strategy and create content that is accurate, accessible, and empowering.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about health communication, public health, chronic illness advocacy, social media strategy, or nonprofit work.

What You’ll Do

• Provide input and suggestions to strengthen IIAN’s social media strategy.
• Research chronic and invisible conditions and translate information into accessible social content.
• Create Instagram and LinkedIn graphics using Canva (or similar tools).
• Write clear, inclusive, accessibility-focused captions.
• Stay aware of trends in educational and nonprofit social media.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with social media content creation (Instagram preferred).
• Ability to explain medical or health-related topics in simple, accurate language.
• Familiarity with Canva (or similar tools) or a desire to learn.
• Interest in or lived experience with chronic/invisible illness (optional but welcomed).
• Commitment to accessibility and inclusivity in communication.
