Position Overview

This Adjunct Faculty member teaches Music Business courses.

Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes .

Teaches lecture and laboratory sections Evaluates and advises students Participates in departmental and College affairs Develops curricula Recruits students Serves on committees Performs other duties as assigned What you need to succeed

Master's degree in Music Technology, Music Business Studies, Media Production, Arts Management, Commercial Music, Jazz Performance, Studio Music, Entertainment industry or related field (preferred); or a Master's Degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Music from a regionally accredited institution All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments Preferences
