We are seeking a talented Staff Engineer / Content Writer to create high-quality, consumer-focused content for the Energy Management sector. In this role, you will craft compelling narratives that guide, educate, and engage users while working closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers and product managers. You will shape the messaging for B2C audiences, translating technical and complex information into clear, emotionally resonant content. This fully remote role provides an opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, globally distributed team while driving content strategy and improving user experience. The ideal candidate combines domain expertise, storytelling skills, and a deep understanding of the US consumer market.
Accountabilities
Develop, write, and refine content tailored to Energy Management products and services for B2C customers.
Ensure clarity, relevance, and emotional engagement in all content to enhance the customer journey.
Act as a content consultant, simplifying complex ideas and guiding users with clear messaging.
Collaborate with internal teams across time zones, particularly UX designers, to align content with design and user experience.
Rewrite or elevate existing content to improve clarity, engagement, and impact.
Contribute to content strategy, messaging frameworks, and storytelling approaches that enhance consumer trust and product adoption.
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of proven experience in content writing, preferably in technical, energy, environmental, or consumer-focused industries.
Strong knowledge of the Energy Management sector and consumer-facing products/services.
Deep understanding of the US market, including consumer behavior, language patterns, and cultural nuances.
Experience producing content for B2C audiences and optimizing for engagement.
Ability to craft emotionally compelling content that drives trust and action.
Excellent editorial, storytelling, and proofreading skills.
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams across time zones.
Demonstrated expertise in writing, rewriting, and elevating content quality.
