About Us MS Crop for a Cause is a volunteer-led nonprofit raising funds to support Multiple Sclerosis (MS) research and individuals living with MS. Through fundraising events we work to advance research and bring hope to those affected by MS. The majority of our events are centered around crafters who enjoy scrapbooking, yet we do host a variety of other events such as concerts, walks, paint parties and more. Volunteer Role We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Videographer/Editor to help us capture the energy, stories, and impact of our events throughout the Chicago area. Your work will play a key role in helping us grow our online presence and effectively communicate our mission to supporters, donors, and the MS community. Responsibilities Attend scheduled events in Chicago (dates provided well in advance) Film high-quality footage of event activities, interviews, and candid moments Storyboard, Script and Produce engaging short-form and/or long-form videos for web and social media Collaborate with our team to understand themes, messaging, and storytelling goals Deliver edited videos on an agreed-upon timeline Qualifications Experience in videography and video editing with use of your own camera and laptop Ability to capture high-quality footage in live event environments [camera or high-grade phone and microphone(s)] Proficiency with editing software of your choice Reliable transportation to/from Chicago events Strong creative storytelling and communication skills Portfolio or sample work preferred Time Commitment Project-based, depending on event schedule Flexible editing timelines Opportunity for ongoing volunteering if you enjoy the work Impact Your creative work will help us share powerful stories, highlight our fundraising efforts, and connect with a larger audience—all to support critical MS research and community support programs.
